Wild Wind Tamer design by Sheltair has four balanced tubes so each one has the same time constant. This wind tamer is useful in damping pressure fluctuations caused by heavier winds, up to 15 MPH. This design was developed from research performed at Sheltair which showed the older CGSB wind damping system did not work well in field tests because the shorter pressure legs would always dominate and the capacity tank would produce huge pressure swings when heated or cooled by the sun or from touching the tank.
